A sturdy pen for holding animals

If the humans are the masters of the age, then their mastery was built upon the backs of their animal servants. The humble oxen is slaughtered to feed the masses of Aquilonia, the humble plough horse clears the fields for grain to bake their bread, and sheep provide the wool which is spun to create their finery. Animals can be loyal companions, or exploited for the resources that they produce. The food that an animal is given as it grows is a major factor in determining the type of creature it will be once grown.
